Signature Labs, Inc. (“Signature Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit signaturelabs.org (the “Site”), apply to roles at our studio, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide. Name, email address, phone number, location, LinkedIn or portfolio URLs, resume, work authorization, and any free-text responses you submit through our careers application form or contact channels.
Account & authentication data. If you sign in to an admin or applicant area, we process your email address and authentication identifiers via our identity provider.
Automatically collected data. IP address (in hashed form), browser user agent, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed, collected via standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.
Cookies & similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies for session management and, where applicable, analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

2. How we use information

To evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates.
To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
To respond to inquiries sent to support@signaturelabs.org.
To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent, performance of a contract (including pre-contractual steps such as recruitment), our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, database, email, analytics) acting on our instructions under written agreements.
Affiliated entities and incubated portfolio companies when necessary to evaluate a candidate’s fit for a specific role.
Authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Applicant records are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner or a longer period is required by law.

6. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege policies. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 8. International transfers

We are headquartered in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions that may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, with the “Effective” date updated above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
